Question and answer about mahr obligation
Since Zayd had guaranteed the mahr on behalf of his son, after his death, should the mahr be deducted from the original (undivided) inheritance, similar to all of the debts of the deceased, or from the son [the husband]'s share? Sadiq ibn Muhammad has answered that it should be treated like other debts.

Marriage contract of Fatimah Sughra and Muhammad Riza, 1924
Marriage contract between Fatimah Sughra, the daughter of Muhammad Quli, and Muhammad Riza, the son of ‘Aliquli. The mahr is eighty tumans. A note on the margin, dated October 27, 1927, states that after Muhammad Riza's death, Fatimah Sughra received her mahr from his mother, Umm Nisa’ Khanum, and his underage daughter.

Dividing the inheritance of Muhammad, 1921
Since he had not left any will, after Muhammad's death, his belongings were divided among the inheritors: Ma‘sumah Khanum (his wife), Ana Khanum (his daughter), and Nur Allah and Ahmad (his underage children). It is noted that after receiving her share, Ma‘sumah Khanum loses any claim to her mahr and can separate her share after four years.

Settlement of ʻAbd al-Rasul Khaliki with his wife, Khadijah Bibi, in which he settles a piece of land for 100 dinars and a man [each man is three kilograms] of wheat with her, so that after his death she will, with the knowledge of Mirza Hasan Kavardi and Sayyid Muhammad Jaʻfarabadi, spend 15 tumans for his funeral and to pay for his lapsed prayers, fasts, and other religious duties. The wife also settled all of the forty tumans of her mahr with her husband.

Marriage contract of Haji Maryam Baygum, the daughter of Aqa Sayyid Ismaʻil, and Haj Sadiq, the son of Aqa ʻAbd Allah from Kirman. The mahr is twenty two tumans and five thousand dinars. The bride has the following conditions: her husband should take her to Mashhad and pay the costs and it is also his duty to pay for her burial in Mashhad.

‘Azra's letter for confirming her marriage and mahr, 1935
Letter written by ‘Azra, daughter of Haj Mirza Husayn Sharif, to Mirza Sayyid Ahmad Pish-namaz [the prayer leader] requesting him to confirm her marriage to the late Mirza Muhammad Riza with a mahr of three hundred tumans, ten misqals [unit of weight] of gold, a Qurʼan worth five tumans, and ten misqals of silk. He confirms her claims and points out that she had settled one hundred and fifty tumans of her mahr with the late Mirza Muhammad Riza.

Petition by Mulla Karim's wife
Petition by the wife of Mulla Karim ‘Attar (herbalist) from Marand to Hujjat al-Islam regarding Shaykh Manaf, who had deprived the wife of Mulla Karim's brother from her mahr and rights, demanding that she should have proof of marriage while they had been married for 40 or 50 years. After Mulla Karim's death, Shaykh Manaf also deprived his wife, the petitioner, from her rights and assigned Dadashi from Huchqan as the guardian of her underage daughter. Then, they divided the child's share of inheritance between themselves.
